What is the 'LHL' and how to become a Member:

The Louisville Historical League was established in 1972. It is an all-volunteer (no paid staff) non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Louisville's cultural heritage and the preservation of the historic environment. LHL has over 300 members. We hold regular monthly meetings at the location where the history was made on the topic being featured. If you like local history, you'll love LHL. Membership in LHL is FREE!
